4 AugGardeners from Kanazawa visit Buffalo

• The city of Kanazawa, Japan made a gesture of friendship to the city of Buffalo by sending three professional garden experts to work with the Olmsted Park Conservancy to advise our city gardeners on the design and philosophy of Japanese gardens.

  Mr. Akihide Uemura, Former President of the Ishikawa Prefecture Landscape Association; Mr. Hideaki Nakae, Managing Director of the Ishikawa Prefecture Landscape Association; and Mr. Makato Ura, Kanazawa City Gardener visited Buffalo at the end of June 2008.
